The Program, In Depth

Inside the 21-Day Program

This is the full consultation video series — the same eleven-chapter walkthrough we give every client before they enroll. We’ve taken it off the gate and opened it to everyone. No form to fill out, no email to hand over: watch all of it, top to bottom, and then talk to us if it’s a fit.

Start with Chapter 1, the Introduction — hosted by Will Lieberman, Owner & Founder.

Watch the whole program before you ever call us.

Most people researching a live-in program for a difficult dog have already been let down once or twice. So instead of asking you to trust a sales pitch, we’re showing you the method itself — the philosophy, the tools, the safety operation, and the honest limits of what training can do. It’s the same series we walk clients through, chapter by chapter.

Start at the introduction and watch straight through, or jump to the chapter that’s on your mind — aggression, the e-collar, safety. When you’re ready, you can read about the 21-day board & train, see where we work in Denver, or meet the people behind the program.

Chapter 02

Balanced Training Explained

Reward-only training breaks down the moment real distraction shows up. Balanced training pairs rewards with fair, clear consequences — the only approach that holds up in the real world.

Chapter 03

The Operant Conditioning Quadrant

The science behind the method, in plain language: “positive” and “negative” mean add and subtract — not good and bad. This is the framework that replaces dog-training mysticism with something you can actually understand.

Chapter 04

The E-Collar

Exactly how we use the e-collar, why it comes after foundational tools rather than first, and the three common myths — shutdown, aggression, personality change — that simply aren’t true when the tool is used correctly.

Chapter 05

Expectations & Defining Success

What real, lasting change actually looks like — and what it doesn’t. Dogs aren’t robots; off-leash freedom is earned, not assumed, and we’re honest about that from the start.

Hosted by Jamie Miller, Head Trainer

Chapter 06

Aggression

We don’t claim to “fix,” “solve,” or “cure” aggression — we teach you to manage it and become your dog’s advocate. An honest look at what genuine, responsible work with an aggressive dog requires.

Chapter 07

Fear & Anxiety

Anxious dogs do better with a clear job and a leader to follow. We show how structure and controlled exposure give a fearful dog the confidence that endless reassurance never could.

Chapter 08

Our Training Process

Inside the 21 days: a live-in, immersive program with a low trainer-to-dog ratio, dozens of sessions, and two distinct phases — teach the behavior, then proof it in the real world before your dog comes home.

Hosted by Valentina Espinosa, Support Team Director

Chapter 09

Our Lifetime Commitment

Graduation isn’t the finish line. Where most programs hand you a couple of follow-ups and wish you luck, every AOD graduate gets unlimited one-on-one support for life — no expiration.

Chapter 10

Safety

How we keep your dog safe every single day: feeding and weigh-in protocols and a color-coded clearance system that governs which dogs and trainers work together. Safety isn’t a promise here — it’s an operation.

Hosted by Andrew D’Addario, General Manager & Head Trainer

Chapter 11

The Muzzle, FAQ & Conclusion

The muzzle as a safety tool and not a stigma, answers to the questions owners ask most, and how a trained dog stays trained — because keeping the result is a lifestyle, not a one-time fix.
