Jamie is a head trainer at Art of the Dog. She has been training dogs for about fifteen years and has trained thousands of them. She oversees all training — every dog that goes through the program meets her standard before it goes home. She lives in Denver with her husband Will, a co-founder, and their dogs.
She got into this work after living with a dog she couldn’t control, and she finds it rewarding to help people live more comfortably with the dogs they love. On her days off she keeps studying dog training: “we never feel we’ve learned everything.” Outside work, it’s her dogs, hiking, and time with her sister and mom.
