Andrew is the General Manager of Art of the Dog’s Denver academy, promoted from head trainer. He moved to Colorado about seven years ago, where he built hiking trails, and he lives in Morrison with his wife Kim and their three dogs — Willie, Poncho, and Lefty. He’s drawn to the hard cases: the anxious, fearful, and aggressive dogs that come in muzzled, lunging, and pulling, and he takes pride in doing the work others can’t.
About five years ago he had a reactive dog of his own and didn’t know what to do, so he understands owners who are at their wit’s end. A purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Andrew loves the outdoors — camping, hiking, and walking in the woods with his dogs.
