Will co-founded Art of the Dog with the goal of building the best dog school on the planet. He grew up in New Jersey, moved to Colorado about seventeen years ago, and lives in East Denver with his wife Jamie, also a head trainer, and their seven dogs — including Homer. He came to dog training through protection and sport work, and he’s especially drawn to aggression cases: “the space where I can really make a difference.”
A purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for around seven years, Will sees the mat as a parallel to training — a puzzle with tangible results. He was an artist and graphic designer for fifteen years, and still designs Art of the Dog’s website and apparel.
